79th Annual Holly Springs Pilgrimage April 21 – 23, 2017
Celebrating our 79th year, Pilgrimage is the annual tour of homes and churches in the historic town of Holly Springs, Mississippi. Famed author William Faulkner based his fictionalized Yoknapatawpha County on a diary found at a Holly Springs plantation. Join us for a weekend of that famed history with tours of historical homes, churches and museums; a guided tour of Hillcrest Cemetery; luncheons and a great “Southern style” dinner with live music and dancing Saturday night.
Queen Taylor Virginia Blaker escorted by James “Wil” Wilson Summerlin, Junior. Taylor is the daughter of Greg and Jennifer Barkley and the late Gerry Blaker and is a junior at Marshall Academy. Wil is a senior at Marshall Academy and is the son of Tish and Jim Summerlin. The Queen and her Escort will open the 2017 pilgrimage at the ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, April 21st at 9:45am.
The Holly Springs Garden Club is a non-profit organization. All proceeds from the Pilgrimage Tour of Homes and events go to the preservation and restoration of antebellum Montrose and its grounds. We welcome and appreciate Pilgrimage sponsorships and donations. Please see Donations/Sponsorships tab.
